Steve is an operations and technology executive who thrives on building and transforming technology-enabled operations. As a consultant, Steve helps organizations of all sizes transform their operations to drive scalability and accelerate growth. This is accomplished through operational redesign, appropriate use of technology, strategic sourcing of products and services, and outsourcing of non-core activities. Previously, Steve was a member of the executive team that launched Procurian, a business process outsourcing firm focused on procurement. The firm became the leader in the market and was sold to Accenture for $375 million. During his tenure, Steve built the transaction services and market intelligence offerings and grew the operation to over 200 people globally including the US, Europe, India, and China. The innovative service model he developed leveraged standardized, but configurable, business processes and technologies to drive best practices and efficiency for clients. Steve has also held leadership positions at a private-equity turnaround, at consultancy A.T. Kearney, and at DuPont Medical Products.
