ABOUT STEPHEN SEAWARD
In 2017 I decided to make a career change. The reason was to find a better balance between work and family than the one I had as a professional Chef. So I enrolled at the City of Glasgow College studying a HNC in Computer Networking achieving top grades, With these results I stayed on and completed a HND, again being one of the few to on my course to achieve top grades. Gaining confidence in my academic ability, something I never thought I had, I continued on to Glasgow Caledonian University where I completed my bachelor\'s degree in BEng Networked Systems Engineering with Merit.After completing my bachelor\'s, and knowing I had to take a step backwards in order to move forwards I secured an IT Industrial Placement for 12 months learned all aspects of a busy IT department. This was poorly paid but the experience gained gave me the foothold I needed. With this I was able reach my ultimate to goal of securing employment in the financial sector specialising in Networking Infrastructure where I continue to work and grow in experience and qualifications. If any of my tutors or people I have worked with and mentored me are reading this, I am eternally grateful for your time and parting of knowledge. You know who you are.
