About Steve Simon
I am heavily involved with Corporate Reporting, data acquisition, database design and analysis, and data warehousing. Duties include warehouse design, extensive utilization SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server 2016 SSIS, Analysis Services (multi-dimensional and tabular including extensive utilization of DAX), Master Data Services and Reporting Services. Other products include SQL Server 2012 and 2016 Data Quality Services, Data Mining and related DMX queries, MDX based queries for Analytical Services, ORACLE version 10i PL/SQL, Oracle Stored Procedures. UNIX based activities include Java based development, Java Server Pages, and XML and HTML. I have worked extensively with Microsoft’s.NET Technology (with effect from the release of the Beta 1 version) and have implemented numerous.NET windows and web based applications, accessing IBM DB2 data repositories and SQL Server databases.
