I am passionate about helping others achieve more than they believed possible.I began my career as a process engineer and would have continued down that path if not for a mentor’s good advice 30 years ago: that I could achieve more by applying my engineering mindset to business. Since then, I have helped many firms create value – as a management consultant, a corporate executive, and a private equity portfolio director – across many different industries globally, including communication equipment and services, utilities, ports, energy, forest products, hospitality, and healthcare. In all cases, results have come through helping others achieve more than they had imagined possible, largely by directly engaging and enabling the firms’ employees to identify and fix issues that stood in their way, and to fully realize growth and savings opportunities.I am now excited to bring that value creation experience to Ontario Teachers\' Pension Plan in its Portfolio Solutions Group.
