ABOUT STEPHEN PISCOPO
I am a dedicated and experienced senior manager in the youth and community sector. In March 2018, I started at the Liverpool Football Club Foundation, progressing through roles to Department Manager where I sit on the senior management team with responsibility for the operational delivery of our programmes across Liverpool City Region. I currently manage a team of twelve staff members and I am credited with setting up the Foundation\'s first team outside of Liverpool when I opened up our branch in New York. I manage five core employability programmes in Liverpool and two in New York, and I manage a total budget of per year. I also manage our Community Hubs programme funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation which is a key strategic partnership that builds capacity and positive outcomes in collaboration with community centres that provide vital services to local people. I have a strong background in stakeholder management. Through a combination of avid networking and innovation, I have a track record in creating win-win relationships that span big businesses, charities, local government, public services and venue providers. I fostered a relationship with Kodansha over two years that eventually led to a million-pound investment as well as developing close relationships with Liverpool City Council to leverage from a variety of funders such as the Merseyside Violence Reduction Partnership that all went towards creating the next generation of youth workers. I work closely with the Premier League Charitable Fund on bids, reporting, L&D and a focus on quality programming and hitting KPIs.I am a confident public speaker, and have delivered engaging presentations from Dublin to Warsaw via St George\'s Hall in Liverpool. Previously, I was a Programme Manager at London Football Journeys. My responsibilities included the design and delivery of the Ambassador programme, implementation of a social media strategy and inputting into the overall strategy, direction and sustainability of LFJ, with a particular focus on the organisations impact. Before that, I was a Programme Manager at the Challenge where I was responsible for overseeing the setup and delivery of the NCS programme across Hounslow, Ealing and Richmond, managing a team of 4 Programme Associate Managers, 10 Assistant Programme Managers and 2 Programme Administrators. I provided management and coaching to build a strong team, supported staff to deal with critical incidents and ensured a high quality programme was delivered by overseeing and managing setup throughout the year.
