ABOUT STEPHEN PEARCE-ROBERTS
I started out as an apprentice. Over the next 12+ years I worked my way up through the industry — running automation projects across the UK, Europe, and the US, including sites in California, Slovakia, and Germany. That journey from the shop floor to director level shapes everything about how I approach this work. Duke Control Systems is the venture I founded alongside two other highly respected engineers. Between us we bring over 50 years of hands-on industry experience — and we built Duke around three things we genuinely believe in: relationships, commitment, and high performance. We\'re a Birmingham-based industrial automation company delivering PLC and robot programming, electrical design, conveyor automation, robotic palletising, virtual commissioning, and control panel build to manufacturers across the UK. We work across automotive, FMCG, logistics, and life sciences. The work is technical and the standards are high — but we\'re straightforward people who are easy to work with and take real pride in getting it right.
