We all hope that life will go exactly as planned, but many of us learn that’s not always the case. When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a meteorologist, chasing tornadoes, and getting snowed in under feet of snow. However, my first science class showed me that my true strength lay in numbers, not weather patterns.After graduating from Virginia Tech, I spent 6 years as a Salesforce Developer, spending my days problem-solving and building applications for sales teams. Then the pandemic hit, and I witnessed the emotional toll of families facing layoffs and financial stress, all while caring for my own family. This sparked a desire to help others navigate financial uncertainties. I decided to quit my job and dedicated the next 6 months to taking the necessary courses to sit for and pass the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Exam. Since then, I\'ve devoted myself to helping others plan for life\'s unpredictabilities.As a dad of three girls, I understand how stressful life can be. Everyday tasks often overshadow the importance of long-term financial planning, but what I love about financial planning is its ability to bring clarity and peace of mind amidst life\'s chaos.
