Developed and far reaching engineering experience achieved over almost 40 years from apprenticeship through to senior management within the manufacturing, utilities and facilities industries. An enriched background in service excellence and innovation with proven skills in financial management. Key achievements encompass a 35% reduction in overall plant downtime within 12 months, reduction in consumable tooling costs of over CAD$70k within 3 years, recovery of an unreliable, loss making CAD$8.25m biomass facility into a record breaking plant within 6 months of being assigned to the project, highest scoring employee satisfaction survey results over five consecutive years and all achieved whilst maintaining the highest levels of integrity and continually building on valuable client relationships. Managing with an open door policy has helped build excellent labor relations in both unionized and non unionized environments and backed with strong negotiating skills allowed the development of efficient and effective team working. Continuing to both share and gain experience and skills, whilst still remaining responsible and accountable within an organization committed to achieving a sustainable future, building, operating and maintaining first class healthcare facilities, promoting a people first culture for employees and ensuring all healthcare facility users enjoy a seamless, safe and comfortable experience.
