ABOUT STEVE MANN

Since gaining my BSc (Honours) Degree and Masters Degree I have been working as an electrical contractor within a blue chip industry. Personal development has been maintained within the engineering industry qualifying to the electrical industry standard City and Guilds qualifications in support of my ambition of professional Chartership, whilst currently nearly completing a University Diploma in BIM (revit), photoshop and solidworks.I have an electrical engineering background with a wide range of experience in the design and management of railway stations, theatres, schools and local government offices. Most recently I have lead a team to deliver a number of electrical design contracts in a design and installation management position. I managed these through concept design to post realisation of installation to ensure the projects were delivered on time and to the required standard taking responsibility for the pricing of each project and material procurement. Demonstrating an excellent working knowledge of leading software packages including but not limited to Autocad, Sketchup, Easy Cert, Word, Excel and Amtech. The ability to achieve a project deadline and to a budget has provided me with the commercial awareness expected of my engineering management position and meeting the up to date standards required in electrical installation.As a registered electrician with an approved body I have also undertaken a number of electrical and data installation contract requiring fibre optic cabling installation and termination. This has required interfacing and reporting to end customer to ensure the contracts were delivered successfully. With an enthusiastic passion for engineering and a determination to succeed, I have a strong attention for detail, accuracy and integrity in any task in which I am involved.
