Experienced senior information and cyber security professional who shapes and delivers strategic visions underpinning national IT Information security, which dramatically transforms corporate landscapes, including eradicating IT vulnerabilities. Champions change and process re-engineering envisions innovative solutions to complex problems, uses the latest tools & technologies within the IT & cyber security arena, and generates business cases for presentation to C-Level stakeholders for radical programmes. A true advocate for safeguarding business-critical systems, networks and infrastructures, evaluates vulnerabilities and devises short, medium and long-term strategies for deploying information security technologies involving consolidating data centres, secure web hosting and ITIL-based service delivery. I have an interest in cyber security awareness and education. As part of my PhD, I have created a security card game called Riskio to teach cyber security attacks and defences. The game was presented and played at the 2018 NCSC Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research (ACE-CSR) conference with NCSC staff and delegates. I have also created another game to teach IC hardware supply chain technical vulnerabilities. This game is a single-player online game for students. I am interested in the following research areas: Gamification to teach cyber security to technical staff, operational staff, and C-level executives; Games created to teach cyber security and privacy issues relating to Big Data; Machine Learning; and IoT.
