ABOUT STEPHEN C. PETERSON

Stephen Peterson is a Partner at Foresite Capital responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in the healthcare tech and services sector. Stephen joined Jim Tananbaum in 2011 as the second member of Foresite Capital’s investment team. He currently serves as a member of Foresite’s investment committee and valuation committee, and is a board director at Sollis Health and board observer at Thyme Care, Signant Health and ConnectiveRx.Prior to joining Foresite Capital, Stephen was an equity analyst for Palo Alto Investors, a fundamental, long/short equity hedge fund focused on small and micro-cap growth stocks. Stephen began his investment career as an analyst with Wells Fargo.Stephen is a Co-Founder and former Board Member of Yuwa, an India-based non-profit organization. He has served as a guest lecturer on investment analysis and financial modeling at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business, University of San Francisco and San Francisco State University. Stephen is a CFA Charterholder. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado. Stephen graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S.B.A. in finance and accounting.
