I joined BrightWind as the first UK employee and since then I have helped to establish a team of six wind energy specialists supporting developers and investors to understand the estimated resource and predicted energy production for wind farms at all stages of the project lifecycle from early feasibility to financing and transactions. BrightWind is seeking to move the industry towards standardisation and digitalisation and has been instrumental in creating the IEA Task 43 data model for wind energy measurements, while also publishing the open-source ‘BrightWind library’ of Python functions for analysis of wind measurements. • Responsible for checking and approving work under a range of service lines including- Onshore and offshore wind pre-construction energy yield assessments- Operational monitoring and analysis of met mast, LiDAR and SoDAR datasets- Operational assessment of wind farm SCADA data and P50 reconciliation- Technical due diligence reviews of third-party energy yield assessments- Array layout and measurement campaign designs. • Responsible for team leadership including hiring, developing and leading team members ranging from new graduates to experienced specialists. • Responsible for technical leadership, interfacing with industry groups and technical experts at BrightWind’s sister company Everoze. • Introduced a number of improvements to tools and processes e.g. mapping automation. • Contributing to the open-source BrightWind Python library for wind analysis

I work in wind energy resource assessment, energy production modelling, and project development with over 11 years of experience in the field. I have worked on both onshore and offshore projects totalling tens of GW of capacity in Europe, Africa, America and Asia including offshore wind farms in Europe, America and Asia. My primary experience is in resource assessments, pre-construction energy production assessments and site conditions assessments, with additional experience in layout design, post-construction SCADA based energy production assessments and wind turbine visual inspections.
