Serve as Director, Global Head - Insurance Management, for Hudson Advisors L.P. which serves as the Asset Manager for Lone Star Funds, a leading global private equity firm. Responsible for the execution of insurance placements and the delivery risk management services for the Europe, North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific Regions of Hudson and Lone Star.Lead a 10 person department responsible for (i) the placement of management liability (D&O), professional indemnity (PI/E&O), transactional risk (W&I, Reps and Warranties, etc.), and cyber insurance programs for a leading global private equity/asset management firm and its operating companies as well as property and casualty insurance for real estate assets located in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific; and (ii) the delivery of risk management service,s including but not limited to risk evaluation, contractual risk transfer, insurance coverage analysis, claims advocacy, and loss prevention, across the entire global platform. The key to my success has been my ability to add unique value to large corporations by:(i) advising C-level officers and general counsel (corporate attorneys) from a legal perspective on how best to protect their companies against risk through the efficient use of insurance products and risk management techniques;(ii) thinking outside of the box to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems facing serving as an effective advocate for corporations in the insurance marketplace by establishing relationships with key underwriting and claims executives and by developing strategic partnerships with law firms, third party administrators. remediation contractors, and other risk management related vendors; and (iv) providing prompt, courteous and upbeat customer service on a 24/7 basis.
