I help organisations achieve their strategic objectives. Why do I do what I do? Firstly, a confession. In school, I wasn’t a hard worker. I frustrated my teachers and my poor mum. And this continued in university.Then, in while in second year at university, I had a life-changing moment that flipped my work ethic switch overnight.I knuckled down at university, found the only grad scheme that wasn’t looking for an honours degree and persisted until they offered me the job; I finished my final exam on the Friday and started work the following Monday.I brought my new-found work ethic to my career. Across numerous operational roles, I discovered that I always found a way to solve problems. I had a knack for it. And I loved it. I asked myself: what if helping solve problems was all I did? That led me to the world of consulting.Today, I work with great clients and amazing colleagues at Capgemini Invent, helping solve some of their biggest strategic and operational problems. It’s great. And I still have that same enthusiasm, drive and application to help them to do so.
