I specialise in health and welfare proceedings in the Court of Protection involving vulnerable adults who have learning disability, autism, dementia, Korsakoff\'s, schizophrenia, and other cognitive impairments, who may lack capacity on a range of issues such as residence, care, contact, sexual relations, contraception, marriage and medical treatment. I have practised in this area since 2008.I am instructed by the Official Solicitor, advocates, RPR\'s, IMCAs and family members on behalf of the person at the centre of the proceedings and have also represented family members and other individuals who are involved in Court of Protection proceedings. I cover the entire North East of England from Northumberland to Yorkshire and also cover Cumbria.
