About Stephen Testa

I am a native San Diegan who loves to go to the beach and on hikes; my favorite being Ponto Beach. Growing up I can’t remember a time when my family and I were not avid Boston fans, both Red Sox and the Patriots. Through sports I learned the importance of solidarity and hard work. Both traits I exemplify daily at the office. I was attracted to the industry by the opportunity to genuinely help others. The role is a heavy one, carrying undeniable responsibility. What drives me to do my best is the endless rewards from how happy you can make others; whether its saving them money or helping them fulfill their American Dream of owning a home. I think what really sets me apart from other loan officers is my drive and work ethic. Both values instilled in me at a very young age from my father who served our country for 21 years. When a person or family comes to Countywide they will not just feel like they are dealing with just another salesman or saleswomen. I treat every client like they are my Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, Brother or Sister; determined to do my best by them and make sure they are happy. I have learned so much from my great mentors and leaders in the industry. my main mentor is a twenty- seven-year veteran of the industry and has taught me the ins- and outs and secrets of the trade. As mentioned before, Countywide Mortgage takes care in our relationship with all our clients to make sure they are completely happy and their needs and wants are being met. I pride myself on my commitment to any task I am given and I will get it done in a timely manner. Always pushing myself to be the best for my clients, I am continually looking to further educate myself in the industry.
