I manage the Pavement Engineering and Materials Testing aspects of our Ontario offices, while providing technical expertise to GEMTEC nationally. Our services include all aspects of Pavement Engineering including the design of new and rehabilitated pavement structures (highways and airfields), condition assessments, structural evaluation, subsurface investigations, and forensic evaluation, as well as the development of pavement preservation and asset management programs. Our CCIL certified laboratories in Ottawa, Petawawa and Atlantic Canada provide materials testing of soils, granular materials, Portland Cement concrete and asphalt concrete.

ABOUT STEPHEN GOODMAN
Specialties: Pavement Engineering, including condition assessment, structural evaluation, design, life cycle cost analysis (LCCA), management, and preservation of pavements. I am a Pavement Whisperer - I can look at a road, highway, airfield, or parking lot and determine the likely problem before putting a hole in the ground. Try me. I am a Pavement Friction and Texture Expert. We have the tools and expertise to design and recommend high friction surfacings and/or assess areas of low friction that result in accidents or slip and fall. Currently qualified on the MTO Registration, Appraisal, and Qualifications System (RAQS) for the following specialties: Pavement Design - High Complexity Pavement Evaluation - Flexible Soils and Pavements Investigations - Complex Construction materials testing including asphalt, concrete, granular materials and soils.
