ABOUT STEPHEN SOBULO

An experienced IT professional delivering technology projects who is transitioning into Cyber Security. I possess a track record of translating business requirements into effective technical requirements through stakeholders’ engagement; and as a collaborative team player, I excel in analysing and solving complex problems which I believe are transferable skills. I am vast in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. In my position as Project Manager, I gained experience working alongside all functions of the business and gained invaluable insights into business operations. I have had different levels of interactions with different stakeholders within and outside the organizations. I believe that Cyber security is all-encompassing in every business, therefore understanding of business functions and the interaction with the stakeholders therein is invaluable. I graduated with Distinction and an award of Overall best performance in MSc IT Security from Nottingham Trent University, UK. In my pursuit of more practical learning and skills, I joined CAPSLOCK training course for hands-on exposure to industry best practices in Cybersecurity. I am passionate about Information Security Management Systems to fortify organisational security postures, leading to improved ROI and sustainable growth. My ideal role are in IT Security Analysis, IT Security Consultancy, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cybersecurity Governance and Risk Management, Cybersecurity Audit and Assurance, and Cybersecurity Management.
