As part of a global L&D team within a complex matrix organisation, I work closely with business and regional HR teams designing, developing and implementing learning solutions and manage programmes and processes within L&D as well as manage and facilitate training as required in order to support both business and people competency growth.Accountabilities include:• Partner with HR colleagues, business stakeholders and subject matter experts across Hitachi Rail and external vendors to ensure the development of programmes that will increase employee knowledge, ability and engagement in the light of a diverse and inclusive culture. • Collaborate at a global level with all HR colleagues to ensure a strong harmonisation among the learning framework and all the relevant HR processes. Ensure the daily relationship with managers and HR colleagues in order to monitor and analyse all regional, functional,individual, statutory and business learning needs.• Support LNA Learning Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across Hitachi Rail; identifying current and future developmental needs at the company, function and individual level, • Conceptualising innovative and flexible methods to address the developmental and capacity building global needs identified, including identification of external training programs and conferences, the design and delivery of in-house training sessions, enrolment in online learning programs, mentoring, self-learning, and other methods as appropriate;• Ensuring and facilitating the implementation of the L&D Plan to ensure smooth execution with effective outcomes and appropriate communication; • Developing learning opportunities and programs, both self-led and directed, to support employee growth and increase employee engagement both at global and regional level.• Develop and implement metrics and monitoring plan to demonstrate the impact training has on improving performance.
