Sport EdEx was created to develop and implement international sports programmes which combine excellent educational opportunities at university level with performance focused multi-sport programmes for both men and women. Athlete development is key throughout and as well as national and international competition and coaching support includes physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, sports psychology, rehabilitation, injury prevention, nutrition, well-being, and performance analysis.The sporting opportunities at a high performance level sit on a foundation of education and personal performance and aim to develop better people which in turn results in better athletes.The Athletic Programme is designed to:• Complement life in London on both a sporting and social cultural platform, encouraging interaction and shared learning across the sporting activities;• Link the athletes to university competition, local and national clubs, work with National Governing Body on guidance in each activity, allow access to tours and tournaments, provide opportunities to observe the game played at the highest level; • Allow its athletes to train and perform as a professional.Sport EdEx is built on a foundation of education, dual accreditation degrees and international sports placements worldwide.
