ABOUT STEPHEN SHEPARD

It’s important to know where you came from and how you got here. Your journey is what defines you in your life. The experiences, the relationships, the successes and failures, the laughter and pain. We are all unique. We are all special. I was born and raised a kid of the 80’s. Hair bands, neon clothing and yes, mullets. Spokane, Washington was a great place to grow up as a kid. Some much to do and explore on a BMX bike. After graduating from West Valley High School in Spokane in 1988 and after a short stint in college I proudly joined the United States Marine Corps. After graduating from basic training and finishing my combat and specialty training as a Military Police Officer I was stationed in beautiful Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Unfortunately I didn’t get to spend much time in paradise. In August of 1990 I was deployed to Saudi Arabia as part of the fighting force involved in Operation Desert Storm. After returning home from the middle east I met and married my incredible wife. In 1993, I began my career as a police officer with the City of Tacoma. In over 12 years of service I was able to serve in several different capacities (K-9 handler, gang unit, pro-act unit and patrol officer). Related to my law enforcement career I also spent 8 years as a health care investigator for the Washington State Department of Health. Protecting the health care rights of the citizens of this state. I’ve been in the Real Estate business for over a decade and it has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy helping clients achieve their goals associated with buying and selling real estate.
