ABOUT STEPHEN SEKULA
I am the SNOLAB Research Group Manager and a Professor in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astronomy at Queen\'s University. I am on secondment to SNOLAB during the term of my position at the laboratory. From 20••••22, I was an experimental particle physicist on the ATLAS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. I studied the properties of the newly discovered Higgs boson, specifically its spin, decay to quarks, and later its self-interaction. I contributed to the ATLAS trigger system, specifically bottom-quark-initiated jet triggers and flavor tagging performance. I was also part of the Electron-Ion Collider user community where I served as a co-convener of the ATHENA proto-collaboration Jets, Heavy Flavor, Electroweak, and Beyond the Standard Model Physics Working Group. I served as Chair of the Department of Physics at SMU from 20••••22.
