Stephen A. Schwartz is Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer of Lion Inc, an international leader in government and military markets providing: first responder uniforms, first responder personal protective equipment for fire and chemical response, lifecycle management logistics, and training solutions. Steve has earned progressively greater responsibilities as a 4th generation member of his family’s business, where he started in 1989 after receiving his MBA from Northwestern University. Steve has been instrumental in leading the company’s development of innovative products and services that have “changed the playing field” in each of its markets.Steve started his career in Lion’s original core business divested in 2004, the commercial uniform division of the company known as the Lion Uniform Group. That group’s beginnings extended back to 1898 when his Great Grandfather and Great-Great Grandmother peddled clothing from a horse and carriage around the Dayton, Ohio region. He was named CEO in 2006, succeeding his Uncle.
