What started as a consulting gig quickly turned into a building science geek\'s dream job. The energy efficiency research work I did at NRCan has now been put to work for live projects. New skills have been added. I\'m now a THERM monster. I\'ve also got a lot of Passive House scar tissue working on multi-unit residential projects. Interestingly, while giving different absolute answers, both DOE-2 and PHPP trend in the same direction. On the other hand, the fit between an assessment package looking at detached houses and the realities of multi-unit buildings is a rough one. Kudos to Peel Passive House consulting for developing and sharing tools that help bridge the divide. but there\'s a lot more to do. CSV provides high-performance building for the Affordable Housing Community, both Private and Public Sectors. I\'m STILL loving it!
