As Commercial Director at Step Forward Support, I lead the commercial side of the organisation and work closely with the wider leadership team as we continue to grow our supported living and specialist care services across the UK.Over the past 14 months the organisation has grown considerably, with a number of new supported living placements developed and brought into operation across many different regions. During that time I have been heavily involved in the commercial work behind that growth, building relationships with local authorities, Integrated Care Boards and healthcare partners to help establish services that support individuals with complex needs to live more independently within the community.A large part of my role involves identifying opportunities for new placements, working alongside property partners to secure suitable homes, and collaborating with commissioners to structure sustainable care packages that work for both the individual and the commissioning body.Alongside this, I oversee the organisation’s commercial strategy including our marketing activity, website and overall brand presence. I have also played a lead role in developing the organisation’s strategic growth plan, helping ensure that as we continue to expand, the services we create remain practical, sustainable and focused on delivering positive outcomes for the people we support.Within my role, I remain closely involved in the ongoing development of the organisation as we continue to open new services, strengthen partnerships and build support that allows people to live more independently within their communities
