CityFibre are the UK’s largest alternative provider of wholesale High-Speed Full Fibre network & infrastructure within the telecommunications industry.Senior Safety, Health, Environmental Advisor for Field Operations within the Field Operations, Customer Operations team as solo Senior SHE Advisor with National coverage to ensure the delivery of Customer installations are effectively managed to a proportionate level of health, safety, and environmental risk whilst ensuring legal compliance through-out.Working collaboratively with Delivery Executive & Operations Management teams providing competent advice, guidance & support for the ‘Customer Journey’ from Network Enablement, Fault-Fix-Repair & Customer Installation works via Direct Labour workforce & associated Contracting Partners to deliver the Customer Installs journey Right-First-Time.Relay all Corporate SHE activities, changes, initiatives & industry alerts to the Customer Operations Senior Management, wider workstream teams & associated Contracting Partners. Also, I have undertaken & assisted in 3rd line assurance audits (management system audits) on Contracting Partners in accordance with agreed CDM Managers schedule.Cover review & upkeep of all department policies, safe-works-procedure documentation for the 150+ direct labour workforce. Monitor & report performance of contracting party’s Health & Safety, Accident, Environmental incident compliance statistics in detail for the Operations Management team.I undertake all accident/incident investigations involving Direct Labour workforce & coordinate High Potential Incidents (HPIs) associated to Contracting Partners, including reviewing incident causation, identify incident trends, advising on preventative control measures & improvements to drive improvements.
