29 years experience in high end 3D/4D seismic operations including, but not limited to, single vessel NAZ, MAZ, multi-vessel (2, 3 & 4-vessel WAZ as examples) and bespoke high resolution surveys in association with CCUS. Experience from all the major exploration regions and the specific challenges they present. Chief Observer / Party Manager since 2008 with significant downtime reductions on all vessels I have sailed with. Extensive knowledge and experience of all types of marine seismic hardware / software, both in-sea and on-board vessel. Syntrak 480 & 960, SEAL 408 & 428, PGS gAS, Sercel Sentinel, PGS Geostreamer and Shearwater Q-Marine / Isometrix as examples. Significant knowledge of positioning hardware, in particular ION DigiCOURSE (BIRD / FIN / RANGE), Sercel Nautilus, Kongsbeg E-bird and Shearwater Q-Fin. Considerable knowledge of Windows networking, Linux / Unix OS and VSAT / Starlink communication hardware / software. Exemplary personnel and project management skills recognised through strong operational and QHSE performance.
