ABOUT STEPHEN NIERENGARTEN

I have joined LinkedIn to exchange ideas and information to better serve my country, colleagues and fellow networking partners. I am interested in branching out over the next few years as a transitioning military service member. I am seeking out job opportunities and connections that can help lead to a rewarding career working with fellow veterans in either a health or training capacity. I am a decorated and recognized military leader and have been since 2003. I have trained and supervised 100s of soldiers throughout my career in the US Army. I obtained a BA in Health and Wellness Promotion from Ashford University in 2016, making the Dean\'s List with a 3.96 GPA. I have instructed numerous fitness and nutrition classes, to include functional: dietary guidelines; MyPlate; the Performance Triad, functional fitness classes, Army fitness classes, Pregnancy/Postpartum fitness classes, cycling classes, and Yoga classes. I was a Quality Trainer and Small Shop Supervisor for several years, where I trained numerous new hires about quality procedures and requirements. I trained regional area shops that spanned over 7 states and 1 US territory on proper Quality Assurance procedures and updated regulations. Currently, I work at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Virginia. I am a Program Manager for the Joint Interagency Training and Education Center (JITEC) section, stationed in West Virginia. The focus of this program is on the procedural guidance, regulation of, and training on Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosives (CBRNE). The program works in conjunction with FEMA and Homeland Security. Topics of interest include: all things health, fitness, and nutrition related; environmental studies; realty, stocks, and investment opportunities; travel; future tech; Calibration and TMDE; HRF and CERFP activity, and current events.
