ABOUT STEPHEN MILLAR

Regarded as one of Europe’s leading experts in US Horse Racing, Stephen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to one of the world’s largest racing / gaming markets. Stephen had a highly successful broadcasting career both in North America and the UK. Culminating at Sky Sports and At The Races after hosting shows on Racing UK and as Canada’s lead presenter at National and International events. With his extensive knowledge of the sport Stephen was also asked to serve as a Racing / Bloodstock Manger and Jockeys Agent in conjunction with his presenting responsibilities. He was also solely responsible for the introduction of the Pro Cush humane riding crop into the North American market through his company Pro Whip. These crops are now mandatory for all jockeys to use at every North American racecourse. Currently Stephen is part of a small and select team that has taken US racing to new heights at Bet365 over the past 5 years. Up to 14 meetings a day, all ante post and major meetings like the Breeders Cup World Championship are all part of his remit. Although the US market is his specialty, he has experience with UK, Irish and South American racing as well. Previous to joining Bet 365 Stephen also excelled in other areas of business and sport. Successful commercial business management and enterprise. Sports broadcasting and fronting corporate and charitable events. He was also a national-level competitor for many years. Stephen also has a very strong background in the showjumping / equestrian world, hosting and presenting international events.
