ABOUT STEPHEN MCHUGH
Steve McHugh is the Executive Vice President, Federal Government / North America for Rapiscan Systems, where he runs Rapiscan’s Washington DC Office and oversees all strategic communications with US Government and Commercial customers. Steve is a Retired US Army Colonel with more than 27 years of military experience in operational and strategic planning, analysis, and government relations. Prior to his military retirement in 2008, Steve worked with Senior Army Leadership to develop their strategic communications strategy which covered many of the Army’s most difficult challenges including Operation Enduring Freedom and the resizing of the Army to meet new challenges. He also played a leading role in shaping the Legislative and Budget strategies for the Army and Department of Defense. Among his awards and honors, Mr. McHugh has received the Bronze Star, Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster.
