I am an Environmental Health Officer. I have a double Masters Degree in Environmental Health, and hold CIEH, EHRB, and MIFST credentials. I am passionate about ensuring compliance and quality standards in the food industry, and I have a particular interest in technology-assisted food safety solutions and novel food development.My core competencies include regulatory enforcement, private assurance, risk assessment, occupational health, HACCP, food fraud, and specialist food courses. I have worked in both local government and private sector, as well as in port health, where I have performed various enforcement and audit activities, such as inspecting premises, issuing notices, certificates, and permits, investigating complaints and allegations, and preparing cases for prosecution. I have also developed, implemented, and audited food safety and health and safety management systems, and I have delivered training and consultancy services to a variety of food-based businesses. I am an engaging, approachable, and collaborative professional, with excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
