Analysed existing systems’ source code from previous developers and then built upon this to provide clean, modular and robust updates and optimisations. One example is PR Environments allowing developers quickly to view changes in a production-like environment without needing to provision infra and handle its lifecycle. • Designed and written a full end-to-end framework for application deployment lifecycles into Kubernetes (EKS) via CICD backed by Terraform and Shell, and is used in all our environments including production. • Designed and written many pipelines in YAML, Shell/Bash, Terraform and Python to automate tasks across environments and remove manual processes. • Written from scratch multiple bespoke Helm Chart Packages to meet requirements and deliver code reduction and optimisation by replacing existing processes. • Delivered multiple knowledge transfer sessions presenting my work to colleagues and wider teams to ensure I am not the only source for its support. • Frequently deployed across entire path to production environments scheduled for low traffic and out of hours • Helped teams within Vodafone outside of my remit as I throughly enjoy problem-solving and assisting others with technical issues. One example is writing re-usable and recursive API sourcing in Python that feeds into PowerBI reports highlighting points of interest within the dataset. • Meticulously crafted robust mechanisms to integrate with existing systems meeting all requirements and being production-grade, and are actively used by customers. • Mentored new joiner SREs as they come into Vodafone providing technical support and guidance across the business. • Provided on-call support to developers for resolving any issues that occur with the reliability aspect of our infrastructure, and problems that they’re experiencing with new developments written themselves.
