ABOUT STEPHEN HAIGH
As a highly experienced, committed Senior Tutor and qualified Assessor, teaching and assessing computer skills at level 2, 3 and 4, also teaching up to HND level for Staffordshire University, I was instrumental in setting up both the curriculum and the physical configuration of the training environment for the IT Academy at Remit Derbyshire, from its inception. During my time with Remit, I also created, developed and piloted the “Get into IT” course for the Princes Trust. As an experienced IT technology Manager within the Industry I have managed a number of departments from Customer Service through Purchasing, Quality, and Project Management; I have also Project Managed the Investors in People scheme for a past employer. Now semi-retired, I am a qualified tutor and assessor for RSGB (Radio Society of Great Britain) examinations, but would very much like to make further use and opportunity of these valuable IT skills and expertise to help educate others within the IT industry once more.
