I am a highly skilled Senior Program/Project Manager with more than 16 years of experience in the development of business best practices in various industries. Having been described as “…an effective team leader that excels at performing multiple roles”, my main focus has been as a deployment lead/subject matter expert in the realm of Enterprise Release Management methodology. A strong collaborator and communicator, I have lectured on ITSM Release Management best practices to a Fortune 500 IT shop and served on the Kansas City Project Management Institute’s board of directors as President and Vice President of Communications. Combining applied skills obtained across diverse industry segments and PMI principles, I have led the following efforts- Planned, redefined and executed a release management process improvement program for a large healthcare insurance provider - For a large, US Financial Institution, established a program structure (complete with governance, communication and program measurement) to guide the company\'s efforts to improve their Service Management, without introducing additional overhead - Performed multiple roles for a large, international law firm. Duties included: PMO Consultant responsible for coordinating multiple infrastructure projects and establishing program structure - For major U.S. oil producer, led a PMO for a $50M SAP installation. Established program management processes through the use of PMI based best practices - Managed a portfolio of over $2M dollars’ worth of mobile data control software projects for mobile telecommunications companies worldwide - Program Manager during the Sprint spin-off of the local telephone division (Embarq), specifically aligning with the director of Release Management, PMO and Testing Specialties: PMP Certified Scaled Agilist Certified ITIL Foundations Certified IT Release Management Project Management Virtual Team Management Global Team Management Program Management Process design Outside of work, I am based in Lee\'s Summit, MO where I enjoy any and all Kansas City sports team (go Royals - Chiefs). I have a deep love for all things board gaming and own a collection of over 300+ games. In fact, I have been an avid Strat-O-Matic baseball game player since high school and have actually participated in the World Championship in 2018. When not gaming, I am reading a good sci-fi or fantasy novel or walking one of my two beagles.
