This new Phase B3 ASB provided new acute hospital services and specialist inpatient accommodation as part of the client\'s wider redevelopment plans for the Ulster Hospital estate. The 8 no. storey, building was constructed adjacent to the new Generic Ward Block completed in 2017. Accommodation included: Emergency Department, Radiology, Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Generic and Specialist Wards (single room and ensuite) including Acute Assessment, Stroke, Renal and Gynaecology. Also included are Mortuary, Staff Change, FM Facilities, Kitchen and Dining, Entrance concourse and Communication links to the existing Hospital.
