About Stephen Boyd
Engineer by education, technology purveyor by vocation. A computer engineering degree from Northeastern does a couple of things. One of which is it gives me options to explore what I want to do. And what I want to do is become an expert global technology “merchant”. Pricing arbitrage, combined with solving board-level mandates (Cost optimization for CIOs, Sustainability and carbon accounting for CFOs), and a keen understanding of applied technology disruption (think Open.ai) makes me indispensable. I am learning my trade and I am on a team that is creating the go-to-market strategy for 5G with a +50B technology platform provider. Strategy is great, but monetizing strategy is even better. It keeps the world real. A former NYS rowing champ, I train for triathlons and challenge my thinking by reading. The latest read was The Myth of Sisyphus by Albert Camus.
