ABOUT STEPHEN DUFFY
Stephen is an Associate Director with Deloitte with a primary focus on digital healthcare transformation, particularly architecture and design. He has worked extensively with local and national health economies across the UK on the development and implementation of eHealth innovation programmes, EPR design, integration and delivery. Stephen’s most recent experience includes leading on the strategic development of digital health and social care platforms, cloud transformation and architectures for automation and digital care.He has also spent time working on global transport & logistics engagements.Stephen\'s healthcare background includes being previously responsible for delivering the eHealth Programme in a territorial Health Board, a key enabler of the national eHealth Strategy. His eHealth Team won the BCS Health Informatics Scotland Award for Technology to Support Health & Social Care Integration for two years running. Stephen has worked in the Scottish Government in both the Public Service Reform Department and the national eHealth Directorate as Enterprise Architect on a range of technology-enabled programmes, with a particular focus on cross-boundary interoperability and multi-agency data sharing.Before joining the Scottish Public Sector in 2002, he worked for an American multinational in Northern Spain, where he became fluent in Spanish and Java.
