I lead a team of engineers building KYC at JPMorgan, a core compliance platform that powers customer onboarding across the bank. We design and deliver cloud-native microservices in Kotlin and Spring Boot, running on Kubernetes in Google Cloud. The platform uses configurable distributed workflow orchestration, handling complex compliance checks at scale. My role is hands-on with system design and code, while leading the team\'s technical direction, mentoring engineers, providing line management responsibilities and partnering with product, risk, and compliance stakeholders to ensure we meet regulatory requirements. This work sits at the intersection of platform engineering, fintech infrastructure, and compliance technology.
