About Stephen Crotty
I recently finished a contract position as an Election Coordinator for Edison Research for the 2022 Midterm Elections, While there, I coordinated all Election Day exit polling operations in Georgia, Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Edison Research is the exclusive source of exit polling and vote count data for a range of media outlets, including CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, and Reuters.I am a recent alum of Queens University of Charlotte, where I majored in Political Science and minored in Psychology and Professional Writing & Rhetoric. At Queens, I also pole vaulted for the men’s track and field program, gave campus tours, tutored in the Writing Center, and worked for a more productive political environment on campus with the Civic Engagement program.As one might guess from my academic experience in the social sciences and work experience in political survey research, I have a deep interest in the human aspect of politics- what makes people partial to certain candidates and messages, for instance- and am interested in a career in political consulting, lobbying, or research.
