ABOUT STEPHEN COOPER
I lead a legal team focused on fintech and banking, and am particularly engaged with governance, legal operations, payments modernization and digital and open banking. As part of senior management, I oversee an internal legal team, provide a legal lens to corporate strategy development and implementation, and seek continuous improvement through technology adoption and legal operations methodologies. I am directly involved in complex business negotiations for Alberta Central and its joint venture partners relating to payments, commercial arrangements, acquisitions and divestitures.
