Participated in a firm-wide cost-savings initiative, utilizing Artificial Intelligence to analyze cloud resource usage data and recommend more efficient allocations, to significantly lower costs of the cloud to the firm. Areas of optimization included Snowflake, Spark on EKS, Spark on EMR, Databricks and other technologies. Developed the application in Python using Aurora RDS Postgres and Snowflake, leveraging AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, S3, SQS, and SNS and leveraged Terraform for the infrastructure builds. Leveraged Azure OpenAI for the LLM.• Engaged in a cloud modernization initiative to migrate applications to AWS. Led the data migration effort to migrate from on-prem Oracle platform to AWS S3. Utilized Spark via EMR for data transformation and Apache Airflow for orchestration with Python, EKS, SQS, and SNS. Used Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC); also participated in data migration from Teradata to Snowflake platform on AWS• Developed an orchestration engine for processing business feeds from systems of record. Worked with over 100 Process Flow Controls (PFCs) which separately orchestrated numerous job tasks, triggering exposure calculations and data enrichment. Utilized the Oracle BPM platform. Was BAU lead/program manager for delivering new requirements and worked with several component teams for their orchestration needs. Also coordinated projects with the offshore teams.• Managed a large suite of applications for the Reference Data Team, and architected the orchestration engine to coordinate the batch processing, leveraging Java, MQ, Spring/REST services and Oracle Exadata. Architected the diagnostic framework to enhance upstream problem resolution capabilities.• Served as Scrum Master and Technical Lead, overseeing design, build, and delivery phases using MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence.
