ABOUT STEPHEN CAMERON

Stephen Cameron is a dynamic, achievement-oriented individual specializing Real Estate Finance with a compliment of Sales, Marketing, and Philanthropic work. At Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital (CSMC), Steve specializes in structuring low-rise, high-rise, green-field and infill residential debt financing solutions for builders and developers across Southern Ontario. Steve is an integral part of the management team at CSMC, and works in the strategy and underwriting process when evaluating new deals. He maintains relationships with internal and institutional investors, as well as borrowers, solicitors, planners, quantity surveyors, and other consultants alike. By forging strong relationships with his clients, and through his deep understanding of and passion for real estate development, Steve provides creative and flexible financing solutions that meet the residential development and construction needs of some of the leading builders and developers in the region.Steve graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce and began his career as a Business Solution Sales Representative with Xerox Canada. Following his tenure at Xerox, Steve joined the Real Estate Industry as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter for The Home Trust Company.Steve is also the President and co-founder of The Friends For Life Foundation, a local Toronto based not-for-profit organization that raises money and awareness for the Oncology Unit at the Sick Kids Hospital as well as Cystic Fibrosis Canada. Mr. Cameron has a successful track record in business development with strong listening, relationship building and negotiation skills.A creator and implementer of ideas and projects with a proven track record at both Cameron Stephens Mortgage Capital and the Friends for Life Foundation.
