Architected the migration to and incremental adoption of React and TypeScript for Standard Metrics\' frontend. Took the application from being written solely with a server-side templating engine and JavaScript / jQuery to being built entirely with React and TypeScript. Led an initiative to improve the reliability of Standard Metrics\' application by leading the adoption of testing, monitoring, and alerting best practices. As part of this effort set up end-to-end testing using Playwright & Kubernetes. Lead the creation of a design system and reusable component library to both increase the visual consistency of Standard Metrics\' application and improve the developer productivity with respect to building interfaces from wireframes. Collaborated with product and design and conducted customer interviews to determine what features to develop and what high-level problems / use cases to address. Helped brainstorm and implement solutions that solve these problems.
