About Stephen Boros

With over 30 years of experience in the plastic piping industry, I am a seasoned leader and innovator. As the VP Engineering at Pipeline Plastics, I oversee the design, development, and testing of high-quality HDPE pipes for various applications, such as water, gas, oil, and mining. I also collaborate with industry associations, regulatory agencies, and research institutions to advance the standards, best practices, and knowledge of plastic piping systems. Previously, I was the Technical Director at Plastics Pipe Institute, where I contributed to the education, promotion, and advocacy of plastic pipe technology. I also have a background in entrepreneurship and consulting, having founded and managed Group Timberline, a company that specialized in plastic couplings for telecommunications. I hold a MS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma. I am passionate about creating and delivering innovative and sustainable underground infrastructure solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers and stakeholders.
