Key Achievements• Responsible for the successful delivery and commercial deployment of Oregan Android TV releases for Megacable, Mexico. Including the management of Verimatrix Ultra, Google, Netflix and Amazon certification cycles.• Managed the delivery of Oregan’s Middleware releases to BT, leading to successful deployment to approx. 700k BT Vision set top boxes.• Delivered ongoing upgrade releases containing new features (e.g. Linear Multicast, Auto Disc Management) and defect fixes.• Direct customer facing role which involved daily communications with BT project managers, test teams and UI developers.• Core member of a multi-function triage team, analysing field data to provide a clear focus on which issues were affecting customers most.• Delivered a number of Proof of Concept solutions to address key technical risks when introducing new technology features, such as Widevine DRM, on low memory, low performance legacy STB devices. • Responsible for Nagra Advanced Security Certification being achieved on BT’s Multicast and Non-Multicast platforms.• Managed a work package to deliver a set of Gstreamer unit tests into the Open Source community which test the MPEG-DASH parser and demux components on behalf of YouView.• Managed an internal Oregan team which delivered a bespoke automatic black box test environment to test STBs – driven by PHP scripts and IR blasters.
