About Stephen Bird

I am a medical device sales executive with a strong financial background. Arthur Andersen was a great place to begin my career. The exposure to multiple industries, multiple leadership styles, communicating with C-level executives, the rigors of passing the CPA exam, all built a solid financial foundation for me. I then transferred that experience to a small firm in a small town, broadening my exposure in tax and fraud auditing. The transition to medical sales may seem like a stretch, but it fit my personality well. My experiences at Care Rehab gave me the opportunity to learn medical device sales. Over the course of a decade we hired, trained, managed, and motivated several hundred sales reps. Leveraging principles of Good to Great, we helped management grow sales by over the decade. The transition to Patient\'s Choice gave me the opportunity to use both my financial and sales management experience to help further the success of the company. I have now decided to leverage my experience of the last 20 years to help grow sales in a mutually beneficial way. The industry continues to have challenges. Legislative and regulatory changes are unpredictable and frustrating. Sales organizations continuously change compensation plans and quotas in ways that adversely affect sales reps. I have a passion to find ways to connect qualified sales professionals with sales organizations that will reward, not punish success. I also think there are great opportunities to help medical practices increase revenue in the face of ever-decreasing reimbursements and ever-increasing bureaucratic red tape. Let\'s connect! UltraMIST is Low-Frequency, Non-Contact, Non-Thermal Ultrasound and is clinically proven to promote the healing process by Increasing Perfusion, Decreasing the Bioburden (including Biofilm), and Decreasing Pro-Inflammatory Cytokines. It is proven effective (over patients entered into Level 1 Studies/Trials) on Diabetic Foot Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers, Deep Tissue Pressure Injuries, Venous Leg Ulcers, Surgical Wounds, and more. UltraMIST is reimbursed well by Medicare in the private office and HOPD settings under CPT 97610.
