Supporting Atmos in a large-scale GIS data enhancement project, focused on confirming and integrating services for an estimated customer meters. By utilizing current SAP meter data, parcel information and existing GIS infrastructure, the project aims to ensure accurate representation of service lines within Atmos’ utility network in ArcGIS Pro. The production team performs QA/QC on all programmatically entered services, risers and tees ensuring spatial accuracy, attribution accuracy and network connectivity. They also maintain GIS integrity by updating missing infrastructure elements as they work, including adding missing risers, reducers, and end caps into the system where necessary. Once validated, designs are posted to the parent layer and Atmos is notified of the meters ready for review.
