Develop and deploy recommendation engines to production to conditionally recommend other product items based on past order history, increasing average order size by 7% by utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) techniques to gather customer order history data and utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deploy the recommendation engine. Implement various time series forecasting techniques to predict surges in orders by researching and selecting appropriate forecasting methods, such as ARIMA, Prophet, and LSTM, and implementing them to predict future demand. Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization to understand the performance of the recommendation engine and making data-driven decisions for future improvements. Continuously monitor and improve the performance of the recommendation engine and the time series forecasting models by testing new algorithms, data cleaning and preprocessing techniques.
