I co-lead the Delphi consulting business, fulfilling dual roles as senior business leader and senior subject matter expert supporting our teams in delivering world-class climate change solutions. I am not your typical engineer. I do love designing and building things, unpacking complex systems, and putting logic and science to work, and I have been called ‘Mr. Spreadsheet’ on occasion. But I am more than that. Business leader. People leader. Trusted advisor. Strategist. Expert communicator. Military Veteran. Policy wonk. Steady hand. Marketing team’s secret weapon. I\'m at my best when I get to combine my leadership and people skills with playing a hands-on role thinking through tough problems and creating solutions. For over 20 years, I have been building this multifaceted reputation while doing my part to combat climate change. I have helped some of Canada\'s largest companies and organizations across virtually every sector and all levels of government efficiently and effectively: quantify and report on greenhouse gas emissions and removals, set targets, develop decarbonization and transition strategies, and assess and manage climate risks. These days, I co-lead the Delphi consulting team, constantly looking for ways to make the business case for climate action and guiding our team in delivering results. Given the pace of climate impacts and a sense that we are not doing enough to get ahead of them, I am increasingly interested to help tackle physical climate impacts and risk head-on, build resilience, and strengthen our economy in the process. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to understand opposing views and bring people together in our increasingly polarized society – something that I feel is essential to both solving the climate crisis and developing effective, long-term solutions to the other economic, social, and environmental challenges that we face.
