ABOUT THOR STEPHAN STUBNER
For over 20 years I have helped to build the European Startup Ecosystem. As Professor, Investor, Founder and lately as Co-Host of StageTwo, Europes biggest University Startup Competition.As Managing Partner of Monkfish Equity and Business Angel, I have invested myself in more than 50 companies worldwide – including Hellofresh, Delivery Hero, Calm, Chrono24, Tractive and Wallapop. Today, my personal portfolio spans Europe, the US, Asia and Africa, where I also serve as Equity Partner at Counder in Cape Town to help realizung their mission: bringing together visionary leaders to explore tomorrow’s most important opportunities. I bring this perspective into Boards and Advisory Roles: as Chairman at CODE University in Berlin, in VC funds such as TGFS, and as Co-Host of StageTwo, Europe’s largest university start-up competition.Previously, I led HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management as President, shaping it into one of Europe’s leading entrepreneurship universities. Today, I remain active as Professor for Strategic Management & Entrepreneurship and continue to connect research, practice and mentorship.
